This installation featuring hand-made abaca and ash casket and florals are the artifacts of the thanaversary In Memoriam performative installation. The flowers from the memorial that have been preserved in silica gel, maintaining their color and shape. The flowers are no longer living, but still appear vibrant, reflecting on the way our memories of those we’ve lost are preserved, which are sometimes so vivid that we forget they are no longer still alive.
